Welcome
Soul Work
For me, yoga is about strengthening, healing and reconnecting the body and mind. The driving force behind my desire to teach is a deep passion for sharing the transformative powers of yoga, and the hope that other people may also benefit from their own practice, as I have mine.

"Jo immediately makes you and the space feel calm and welcoming. It’s evident there is a lot of thought and preparation in her lessons; music, sequences and intentions all flow beautifully. I enjoy the pace, calmness and thoughtful poses which she describes and demonstrates with poise but also with humour"

Corrine
"I've been to a lot of Yoga classes over the years and I can hand on heart say, Jo's class was one of the most exquisite, deeply nurturing and professional ones out of them all. Her attention to detail, ability to hold space and her kindness are really apparent from start to finish. I had a sense of well-being after the class that lasted for a few days. Thank you Jo!"

Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.
WHAT IS YOGA?
Yoga is so many things, it means something different to each and every person who steps onto a yoga mat, or takes their practice out into their life with them.
Yoga could very simply be described as a spiritual, physical and emotional journey through asana, breathwork and meditation. These facts are true, but yoga is about so much more than this for me personally.
Yoga is about healing and helping, both for myself and others. It’s about discovering, respecting and understanding our bodies and minds; it’s about seeing our abilities and embracing our struggles; it’s about testing our coping mechanisms and responses in a safe space and learning to overcome challenges and overwhelm; it’s about having fun, as well as carving out time for ourselves to rest and relax; its about learning how to regulate ourselves with our greatest tool, our breath; it’s about introspection, self awareness and trust but it’s also about seeing the bigger picture in the world around us and beginning to really develop a sense of where we belong, within that bigger picture.
In short, yoga is all about being in the moment, so we can fully experience all that life has to offer us, on and off the mat.
